Chipping Young Farmers’ Club member Vicki is best in Lancashire

A MEMBER of Chipping Young Farmers’ Club, Vicki Seed, has been crowned Lancashire YFC’s Junior Member of the Year, beating off stiff competition from members of 19 other county clubs. (Um membro do Clube Chipping Jovens Agricultores ", Vicki Seed, foi coroado Junior's Lancashire MPC Membro do Ano, batendo a concorrência acirrada de membros de 19 clubes de outro município.)

Vicki has been a member of Chipping YFC for a couple of years and believes she has gained enormously from being a member and having opportunities not always available to many young people.(Vicki foi um membro de Chipping MPC para um par de anos e acredita que ela ganhou enormemente de ser membro e ter oportunidades nem sempre estão disponíveis para muitos jovens.)

As assistant secretary of the volunteer-led club, of which members chair their own business meeting to organise events, she revels in helping the club administer entries for competitions across both the Bowland Region and Lancashire County and does this with much efficiency. From organising ticket sales for fun events or contributing to helping at club meetings, Vicki has been enthusiastic in helping her father, Richard, re-energise Chipping’s previously struggling club, helping it to re-appear again in county rankings, and with her fun-loving personality has encouraged many friends and village youngsters to join, swelling numbers at meetings and now enabling the club to fully compete again in regional events.(De organizar a venda de bilhetes para eventos de diversão ou contribuir para ajudar nas reuniões do clube, Vicki foi entusiasmado em ajudar seu pai, Richard, o clube já lutando Chipping re-energizar, ajudando-o para voltar a aparecer novamente no ranking concelho, e com a sua fun- personalidade amorosa tem encorajado muitos amigos e jovens da aldeia para se juntar, inchaço números em reuniões e possibilitar o clube para concorrer plenamente novamente em eventos regionais.)

Such is the growth of the club that Bowland Region has appointed Chipping to arrange the whole of this year’s Bowland Rally, to be held at Gisburn Auction Mart on Sunday, May 15th.(Tal é o crescimento do clube que Bowland Região nomeou Chipping para organizar todo este ano Bowland Rally, a ser realizada no Gisburn Leilão Mart no domingo, 15 de maio.)

It will have competitions on a musical theme, ranging from “Ready, Steady Cook”-style contest to arts, crafts and woodwork and sports events, including arm wrestling, obstacle races and limbo dancing.(Ela terá competições em um tema musical, que vão de "Ready, Steady Cook" concurso de estilo às artes, artesanato e eventos de madeira e esportes, incluindo queda de braço, corridas de obstáculos e dança limbo.)

Vicki has gained much success through YFC which helped her to win the award, from flower arranging to stockjudging and quizzes to cake baking and public speaking. She sits on the Bowland Regional committee as a representative.
